“A queer trio's escape plan from a conversion therapy camp takes a topsy-turvy turn in their face off with a straight laced counselor. limp wrist on the lever puts teens at the helm of self-righteous torture, comrades versus traitors, and asks: ‘Can you ever be sure you've really changed someone's mind?’”
A relentlessly funny and poignantly devastating queer revenge story, this production limp wrist on the lever imagines the entirety of the play staged within the confines of a deconstructed intersection represented by a single traffic light and chalk-drawn road. Within this tenuous structure, characters wrestle with the literal blurring of lines as chalk smudges, alliances are made and broken, and the permanence of their forged agency is constantly in jeopardy.
